Tzofia Mobile App

1What is the “Tzofia” App?
The kosher TV was created for the purpose of bringing Jewish content that is strictly kosher to every Jewish home that wants to hear the words of G-d and does not want to be exposed to the negative content disapproved of by the great Torah sages of our time. The digital ???? is the ultimate solution to all observant families who wish to receive a clean, customized database of thousands of lectures and programs on a Jewish, Torah based platform that is content-rich and of superior quality. This content is constantly updated and perfectly suitable for the needs of the Jewish family. There will be hundreds of programs specifically designed for women that will only be accessible by password. There will also be hundreds of children’s programs based on Jewish values and education as well hundreds of programs that will accompany the Jewish family throughout all stages of its life. In addition, there will be a ‘Beit Midrash’ channel with a unique selection of Torah lectures on various topics.
2What is the difference between the content of the App and the content of the Hidabroot website?
The Hidabroot website contains only a small portion of the content that is contained on Tzofia. Most of the content on Tzofia has been exclusively produced or acquired for this project. Additionally, Tzofia offers live programming to its subscribers, 24 hours a day.
3Is the App available outside of Israel too?
Yes, the content is global and is intended to reach all Jews across the world.
4Is there a charge associated with the App?
Yes. The service is available as a paid subscription at 97 NIS per month (a security deposit of 400 NIS will be deposited to Hidabroot and will remain untouched until the customer terminates his subscription and returns a functional converter box)
5Does Tzofia use up my data service and if so, how much?
Tzofia uses 1.5 MB in total of your data package

7What content does the App include?
An extensive VOD library loaded with thousands of topics as well as a virtual Beit Midrash The Beit Midrash Channel – Torah classes on the entire Shas, Mishnayot and Sifrei Mussar. The Children’s Channel – Children’s programs, children’s stories, children’s movies, and fathers and sons programs The Music Channel – Live shows of famous artists and music videos The Women’s Channel – Talk shows, cooking shows, women’s panels on unique topics for women, and classes on Jewish outlook The Movie Channel – Nature films, and movies produced specifically for the ultra orthodox population.
8Why is the viewing quality low in the first couple of seconds?
In the first few seconds, your converter box adjusts itself to your internet speed and stabilizes at an optimal picture quality.
9How can I set my filtering options?
You do not need to install the filtering system, as it is already built-in. Each subscriber will receive a secure password to access the Women’s channel.

2Do I need to have an internet router set in place next to the converter box?
The converter box has two ways to connect 1. A line connection where the converter box is situated near the router (preferable) 2. Wifi connection
3What if I don’t have a router near the TV, how can I complete the installation using Wifi?
You may purchase a separate router

4Does your home have to meet any special requirements in order to connect to Tzofia?
A. An HDMI display (recommended) or A/V ports B. Tzofia operates on IPTV technology and receives content via the network, customers who already use the internet will receive a Tzofia converter box and will be able to enjoy immediate service. Customers who do not have internet will purchase a data line from Hidabroot that is compatible only with Tzofia and cannot be connected to any other content.
5Does each TV set require its own converter box?
Yes.
6Is this content also available outside of Israel?
Yes, the content is global and is intended to reach all Jews across the world.
7What is the charge for failure to return equipment upon termination of service?
If the equipment returned is defective or not returned at all, the customer will be charged 500 NIS.

Troubleshooting

1Recently viewed content does not appear in my viewing history.
Refresh your converter by disconnecting and reconnecting it
2I can watch videos but there is no sound
Check the volume on your TV and see if an X appears next to the speaker
3An error that reads “connection problem” appears in the middle of my viewing session
Check your router and reboot it by disconnecting it for 10 seconds and then reconnecting it
4 The content is inconsistent, slow or choppy, or the sound continues to play while the image stops
